There was an old barn. Inside were wire sculptures by my Opa: Johannes Hoefnagels 4th. (my Father's Father) I was very interested in viewing them!
I talked a shy friend into going to a party with me. When we got there,
he joined in the fun, but I was struck with social anxiety and sat by
myself in the corner.
My dress is inside-out, and I am walking on a path with topiaries on both sides. There is a gargoylish statue on top of each one.
I'm in the house in my dreams. There is a recurring theme where I need
to get to another room by having to squeeze through awkward spaces to go
there. In last night's dream, I want to get a dress in my wardrobe, and
have to crawl through a cupboard with shelves and bars to get in.
I'm making gin tonics, and have to run to the glasses at the end of a
long wall to pour the gin in. There are giant piles of rubble and trash
everywhere.
My deceased Father and I are attending an environmental march. He is wearing a lovely t-shirt with earthly plant and creature designs. Odd thing is, today is my Father's birthday.
We are all paper cut-outs, and we're being dropped into a bubbling
stream. Some of us have saved ourselves by landing on a piece of
driftwood.
My Mom and I are waiting to see the Cure.
I put my bucket of giant mushrooms on a chair next
to her, while I rush across the street to buy leggings.
Last night's dream featured my daughter.
The rest of my dream was lost in a fog.
Lots of flying guys in stripes holding forget-me-nots.
We are at a Gallery party, where I find a multi-color crochet dress made by my Mother. My son says it would look nice on me.
My newfangled seeding machine went haywire, and flew around shooting
radish seeds all over. Tinkerbelle freaked out, but Pippin stayed where
he was with one eye watching.
I was at a book shop, and in the middle of the floor was a stand,
supporting an open book. Walking across the book was a beautiful giant
silver and gold insect.
I'm on a train by myself, because I couldn't persuade my two friends to come with me.
The train is on its way to a small island, the tracks going over several bridges above the ocean to get there.
A friend and I were walking together, when suddenly she ran off and
jumped over a wall. I couldn't keep up with her. At the wall, there were
three little graves with bunny-ear markers, with the names "Mud, Mop
and Miggle" written on them. There was an intense smell of wild garlic
around us.
I accidentally acquired a package of illegal drugs. I wandered through a forest looking for a toilet so I could flush the drugs away. I did find one, but it was open to the world, with a group of people watching.
I'm
in the house I always dream about (it's a recurring house in my dreams,
old and overgrown). I just found out there was a new extension on one
side of the house, all white and empty. I thought I could move my art
studio in there, but then noticed my husband was already moving all his
stuff in there. I was a little bit miffed, but accepted that this will
be his place now.
All the neighbors are sitting at the front door of someone's house to watch their TV. The show is of a planet exploding.
I'm looking for a toy in a shop, but didn't find what I wanted. I'm wearing a luxurious scarf from a previous dream. Our cat Pippin is there catching mice.
I'm being shown a new technology to help elderly people walk better. I'm
having none of it. I said to myself in the dream "What a dumb dream"
and thought I should have better dream to draw. So I did have another
dream, but forgot that one, and remembered this one.
A guy with long sharp fingernails is looking for me so he can carve away
my fat. I'm hiding behind a silk tree with fluffy pink flowers. There
are several fluffy black cats lounging around the tree.
Jumping off a train before it zooms off a cliff. I only had time to put one sleeve of my cardigan on.
I'm laying on a mattress on the beach near some tide pools. A merman is coming out of the surf.
The waiter says they don't have my favorite spicy raisin scone.
Friends from the past ignore me, so I pretend to not see them and draw in my sketchbook.
Meanwhile, customers arrive sliding down the banister.
